Here at Montrev Gundogs we are passionate about training our working dogs! 🔸️Place boards, also known as target boards, pivot boards, boundary boards or dog training platforms are an incredibly versatile and invaluable training aid for your dog. The place boards are suitable for all dog breeds and puppies. You can see some of our much loved gundog team using them in our photo gallery. Meg, our young yellow labrador recently won a puppy gundog working test and Raven won novice! We are so proud of them both! The place boards play a valuable part in our gundog training. They are a great training aid to have available! We truly do believe they work! 🔸️Dogs in the photos are not included 🤣🤣🤣 🔸️Place boards can be used to help and support many gundog, dog, puppy training exercises. The place board teaches the dog where to be at certain locations while they learn training commands such as sit, stay, retrieval delivery, directional work and as a target to recall and sit in front of you. Place boards can help to keep your dog focused and calm. Practice makes perfect so the more training you do, the better your dog can learn and grow in confidence! But very importantly, regular training is an excellent way to develop a close bond between you and your dog which will last a lifetime! A well trained dog is a happy dog 🐕 😀. 🔸️The place boards are brand new and hand crafted by Neil to a high standard in the UK 🇬🇧. We have received numerous 5☆ reviews and we are incredibly proud of our customer care ratings 😀. 🔸️They are strong and stable, weighing approximately 6kg but are easily portable. 🔸️The tops are made using 9mm Oriented Strand Board (OSB/Stirling), covered with a nonslip 25mm thickness artificial grass surface or a coloured foam top from our alternative place board range. 🔸️The base is constructed of treated timber, making the place boards suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Some blemishes may be visible in the timber but this is due to the natural grain of the wood and how the timber is treated. The timber base may vary slightly in appearance depending on the timber supplier used at the time of ordering, but we never compromise on quality 👌. 🔸️The approximate size of our standard place board is 24" x 24" x 2" (60 × 60 × 5cm) (sizes may vary slightly). 🔸️ALTERNATIVE SIZES ARE AVAILABLE ON REQUEST. PLEASE MESSAGE US WITH YOUR SPECIFICATIONS AS WE WILL DO OUR VERY BEST TO FULFIL YOUR REQUIREMENTS! A CUSTOM MADE ORDER CAN THEN BE GENERATED FOR AN AGREED COSTING. The customer requested a board with a yellow top (made with a nonslip surface). We are proud to say that we fulfilled the customer's requirements and they left us excellent feedback! This type of place board can be made with a yellow, blue, black, red or pink foam top (with or without a handle). Research suggests that dogs see the world through a unique colour spectrum and yellow and blue are dominant colours in dog colour vision. Please be advised that if you require a coloured foam top place board, the STANDARD size for this particular place board is 22" × 22" × 2" (55 x 55 × 5cm), approximately, but alternative sizes are available on request if required, just ask!
