Travel Mugs – Fern Street Pottery
Save the planet: buy pottery! Travel Mugs are thrown on the wheel by Meredith at Fern Street Pottery. The mugs are thrown with a warm red-brown stoneware clay, then flat trimmed, and each mug pattern is hand carved (expect variation- thats the best part!), the finger-loop handle is hand "pulled" and added. I use a fing.

The mugs are thrown with a warm red-brown stoneware clay, then flat trimmed, and each mug pattern is hand carved (expect variation- thats the best part!), the finger-loop handle is hand pulled and added. I use a finger-loop style handle on this mug so that it can easily fit into your cup holder.
After drying and firing I glazed it in a speckled white glaze allowing the rich red clay to show through and accentuate the edges of the carved texture. Travel mugs hold about 14-16 fluid oz (tall latté to go!). They are lead free, microwave and dishwasher safe. This purchase is for ONE mug, but more may be available. They are made one at a time so no two are exactly alike, but they are very well matched. Expect some slight variation in the hand-carved pattern. Lead-free glaze, dishwasher and microwave safe.
Reduce, reuse, recycle!
No two are exactly alike as they are handcrafted one at a time. The bottom diameter is approximately 2.5 inches. (Mugs without lids may be slightly larger. If you are looking for a big mug, this is the mug for you!)
Mugs purchased without lids may be slightly larger, so ordering a lid later will not work. I personally drive without a lid, and Live on the edge ;)
Check my listings for matching coffee pour overs, bowls, salt wells, oil cruets, pitchers, trays.
