The robin’s egg blue glaze is peppered with brown flecks, and as the name suggests, features an egg-shell like semi-matte finish that feels smooth to the touch. The lower quarter of each cup is lightly burnished and left unglazed, revealing the warm, natural colour of the clay body.The underside of each cup is finished with a small foot ring, and stamped with a maker’s mark.
