Jul 23, 2012 - I saw this HOT tip today "I have a roaster large enough for a turkey. I insulated the lid with a layer of foil and have a small rack to set pans on the inside. I been able to bake in my porch avoiding heating my house up with the oven. For things like brownies that dry out easily I set my pan on the small cooling rack in the roaster and add a few tablespoons water while baking. Just keep an eye on things as cook times may be slightly longer but not heating the house has been great."
