Snacking really is the name of the game at the moment. I am a huge fan of the smorgasbord, a delectable mix of meats, cheeses and bread to pick at rather than preparing a full meal. They are also super quick to prepare, ready for a picnic in the park with friends or to enjoy when up in the hills on an Autumn walk with the dog. Happy Belly have taken the humble scotch egg to the next level and they are perfect for that picnic. Made locally in Bolton, Happy Belly make their own sausage meat and seasonings to create scotch eggs with a difference. There are eight varieties to choose from, each with an oozy soft boiled egg at the centre. Gone are the generically bland sausage meat around a dry hard boiled egg, Happy Belly have created eight different treats that take both local and international flavours and make them portable to enjoy on the go. The All Day Breakfast, warmed in the oven is my favourite of the collection.
