This extra large silicone geode mold is perfect for creating custom resin trays. This mold is 1" deep, 11.5" wide and 18" long, edge to edge. This mold takes up to 80 fluid ounces of resin (you can use less if you don’t want the tray to be that thick - our preference is between 70 and 76 fluid ounces of resin).

PLEASE NOTE: BECAUSE THESE MOLDS ARE HAND MADE, THERE ARE SOMETIMES SMALL MARKS OR LINES IN THE BOTTOM OF THE MOLDS. THESE SMALL MARKS OR LINES COULD APPEAR ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR PIECE, IF YOU ARE REALLY LOOKING. PLEASE PURCHASE THIS TRAY MOLD WITH THAT IN MIND.

Tips (always follow instructions for the resin you are using - these are meant as general guidelines):

Always pour your resin into the hardener (pour hardener into the mixing container first, then resin).
Stir resin with a plastic or silicone stirring stick to reduce air bubbles. Wood is not recommended as it can create air bubbles.
Let resin sit a few minutes after stirring to reduce air bubbles.
Don’t use a torch or heat gun as it could damage the molds and make it difficult to de-mould, causing them to tear - this is especially true near the edges.
Wash mold as needed in warm soapy water.
