Exploring Art Supplies
Exploring Art Supplies
Walking into an art supply store can be daunting, and understanding how materials can and should be used, overwhelming. These classes are designed to introduce you to the basics of any art supply you are interested in exploring. Artist and illustrator, Mary Jane Begin, will cover the basics and how to get started with a variety of painting and drawing media including watercolor, acrylic and oil paints, graphite pencils, pastels, ink and more! These classes will take a comprehensive look at the various supplies and the materials used for each. Mary Jane will teach how brushes, pens and other drawing tools react and work best with various papers, as well as what precautions to take with each, and how to clean up when you’re done!Thank you to our sponsor
